"The Foundation established a Water Bank to invest in water for environmental purposes. A small parcel of high security permanent water has been purchased for use in the long-term and will be added to over time. The Foundation Committee will deploy the water for works that benefit Murray-Darling Basin councils, environments and their communities." Further water will be purchased with the funds generated from this auction.
