Shipping for Christmas
Christmas is almost upon us and Langton’s team would like to ensure you have all your wine needs before the festive season.
Melbourne’s last auction before Christmas closes on the 30th November and Sydney’s last auction before Christmas closes on the 14th December. The Buy Now Exchange service will operate 24/7 however please note the shipping date details below.
We cannot guarantee delivery times in the weeks leading up to the Christmas period as we are in the hands of transport companies all over Australia and delivery times will vary from one region to the next.
Our shipping schedule for this busy time will be;
If you live in WA, FNQ, NT and TAS your purchases must leave on or before 13th December.
If you live in a major capital city or metropolitan area your purchases must leave on or before the 17th December.
**Please note that if you are collecting your wine from our offices please provide 24 hours notice.
Langton’s Offices will be closed from midday 24th December until 10th January 2011 and no shipments will be processed during this time.
Heat Policy
During periods of heat we will only hold your shipments on your authorisation.
While every effort will be made to ensure prompt delivery without compromising the condition of the wine, please be advised that Langton’s insurance does not cover heat damage.

This special auction is parcel two, follow-on from our Single Vendor Auction held in Melbourne November 2009. One of Australia’s most significant and valuable private wine collections, the catalogue comprises many of the world’s greatest, rarest and important wines.
**Langton’s Classification V Auction Sydney – Opens 30 November – Closing 7 December
To celebrate the launch of Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine V this special auction offers all classified wines, past and current vintages. The Classification continues to agitate and stimulate debate. As a Langton’s member and buyer you play a big-part in the evolution of Langton’s Classification! Your bids and purchases build a picture of the ultra-fine wine scene. This special auction (entries still invited) highlights the current top performing wines on the secondary wine market. Your involvement both as sellers and buyers will continue to shape the ultra-fine Australian wine scene.
** Opera Australia Charity Event Auction Sydney – Opens 6th December – Closing 13th December
Christmas shopping with a difference! Langton's fine wine auction house and Opera Australia have teamed up to present a pre-Christmas auction which everyone can participate in from the comfort of their home or office computer terminal. Opera Australia's gala auctions are famous for their range of irresistible items and the Online Auction is no exception. There are many exclusive operatic experiences available as well as treats for bargain hunters, such as holiday packages, dinner vouchers, cosmetics, spa treatments, theatre and concert tickets, and other tantalising items.
** A very Special Charity Event Auction Melbourne - Opens 13th December - Closing 20th December
The Lovell Foundation. Our ambition; creating services for people with Younger Onset Dementia. The recently established Lovell Foundation aims to provide long term accommodation services for people diagnosed with Younger Onset Dementia and their families. Well-known winemaker, TREVOR MAST, and his family have made a significant part of their personal wine collection available for this auction. All proceeds(including Buyer’s Premium) will be donated to the LOVELL FOUNDATION.
