October Langton's Cellar Club
Our October Cellar Club Tasting will be held this coming Thursday and promises to be another terrific night with a great line-up taking in four iconic Australian brands.

Tickets are $25 per person and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are new to our tastings, it might be worth noting that they are structured but informal event. The wines are presented one bracket at a time in a predominatly stand-up cocktail style format. There is some limited seating around the room. The tasting runs for about 2 hours or so and a selection of breads and cheeses is provided to complement the wines.

To kick things off in style we will taste the latest from one of my favourite sparkling wine producers, Yarrabank. This partnership between Yering Station and Champagne Devaux has been consistently producing some of the best sparkling wines in the land for almost 20 years now. Here is our chance to plumb the depths of late disgorgement.

Palates whetted, we move on to the new releases from Farr Rising, the younger half of father and son winemaking duo, Gary and Nick Farr. These are immaculate, artisan wines with a huge following among our client base, a following sure to be expanded upon on Thursday.

Yet another of our all-time favourite producers, Tim Kirk, will be on hand to present the new releases from Clonakilla, including the flagship Shiraz Viognier (Classified ‘Exceptional’), the value O’Riada Shiraz and my personal pick for the best Viognier made in Australia!

Completing a fabulous evening of wine, the two new releases from Parker Coonawarra Estate. The First Growth (Classified ‘Excellent’) sits in the very top echelon of Coonawarra Cabernet, while the Terra Rossa is one of its best value renditions, year-in, year-out.
