***Experience Classification VI at the tasting event of the year***
The first Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine was launched 25 years ago in 1989 and featured 34 wines: the 34 most traded through Langton’s Wine Auctions. Classifications II, III and IV followed and each issue reflected the growing maturity of the secondary wine market in Australia. By 2010 when Classification V was released, it had evolved to include 123 wines and the Langton’s Classification enjoyed worldwide notoriety as the ultimate reference point for the very finest in Australian wine.
So it is with a keen sense of history and occasion that we are pleased to announce that the evolution continues; Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine VI will be unveiled this year on 1st May at Australia’s premier culinary event, Tasting Australia in Adelaide. We don’t want to spoil the surprise but it’s our biggest yet with some exciting changes and additions. To further celebrate the launch, we will be embarking on a national tour, bringing the wines and the winemakers of Classification VI to Brisbane(14th May), Sydney( 15th May), Melbourne(16th May) and Perth(25th June) with a series of tasting events. This year we are offering two different ticket packages for each event;
