<p><span>In 2013, Chris Bendle started making wine under his own label DCB (Domaine Chris Bendle) at the Hoddles Creek winery where he built a reputation making award-winning wine with Franco d&rsquo;Anna. Leaning on his connections throughout the Yarra Valley, Chris gained access to small, well-regarded parcels of predominantly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Hands-on in the sourcing of fruit, his hands-off approach in the winery is in pursuit of elegant, pleasurable wines that are affordable. </span></p>

<p><span>Roberto Oliv&aacute;n Iglesias has been farming his eight hectare family estate, Tentenublo, in the high, wind-swept Basque country of the Rioja Alavesa since 2011.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span>Working organically, using native yeast fermentation, and limited sulphur, Roberto draws upon Rioja&rsquo;s long established protocol of barrel ageing (working mainly with French oak), to craft deeply personal wines of substance and character.</span></p> <p><span>The Rioja Alavesa, where Roberto was born, has historically been an agrarian based society within which the cultivation of the vine firmly rests. In strict geographical terms, Roberto is a winemaker of Rioja, and more specifically a winemaker of the Rioja Alavesa. <p>Pierre Meurgey, a fourth-generation winemaker, has been completely immersed in the world of Burgundy for more than half a century. Producing white wines from M&acirc;connais under his By Meurgey-Croses and red wines from the C&ocirc;te d'Or under this By Pierre Meurgey label.</p>

<p>Sister-and-brother owners Anne and Antoine Malassagne are the great-grandchildren of Armand-Rapha&euml;l Graser. They took over in 1993 from their father and in just over twenty years, they have quietly yet confidently transformed AR Lenoble into one of the jewels of the Champagne region. Anne and Antoine manage every aspect of the business personally, supported by a team of 12 individuals spread between the vineyards, the winery and the offices. They complement each other perfectly, Antoine having a natural capacity to take care of the vineyards and craft the wines while Anne naturally finds herself drawn to administrative management and communication. Both of them travel the world extensively. AR Lenoble is 100% family-owned and 100% independent. We do not answer to anyone except ourselves.</p>
