The James Halliday Collection 50 Favourites
On the face of it, picking just 50 favourite bottles from a catalogue of over 5000 Australian and international wines sounds like a near impossible task. James Halliday, however, isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. As his personal cellar goes under the hammer at Langton’s, James has personally selected those bottles of which he is most fond, and which you can bid on today. Browse and bid on the James Halliday auction catalogue.
There are rarities and elite names among them, certainly, but there are also wines that, for other reasons entirely, have sparked James’ vinous passion. Be it pedigree, sentimentality, sheer drinkability, or simply pure vinous nostalgia, they are all personal favourites of the inimitable man himself.
Presenting, in no particular order, James Halliday’s 50 favourite bottles from The James Halliday Collection.
