Dani Landi is something of a celebrity in El Real de San Vicente in the Valle del Tiétar, south of the Gredos. He started making wines under his own name in 2007 and today he produces just over 15,000 bottles a year. All of which are subject to increasing global demand, it’s getting harder to get these wines every year. More

Week in Review 06-10-18

This Week - The Teyssier Les Asteries is certainly one for good company - nothing impresses quite like a maggie of age Bordeaux. We also have a museum Suckfizzle Cabernet from Margaret River. Stella Bella, roughly, ‘Beautiful Star’ and this star is ready to take centre stage. We looked at Quartz Reef Pinots Gris and Noir and opened the latest vintages of the O'Riada and the Classified Exceptional SV from Clonakilla. More

ARPEPE is an abbreviation of the name Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, an Italian tailor, a race car driver and a visionary grower and winemaker. Today his children Isabella and her two younger brothers Emanuele and Guido continue to make Alpine Nebbiolo that’s a bit like Burgundy and a bit like Barolo while, at the same time, entirely its own style.
