Destemmed, crushed, open-fermented, matured in used French oak. It's impossible to find any issue, nitpicking or otherwise, with this medium to full-bodied wine, so perfectly balanced, so clearly reflecting its regional origin. Black cherry, ripe blackberry, earth and dark chocolate flavours rest on a bed of ripe, plush tannins and integrated oak. Great value.

It pushes the ripeness boundaries, in flavour profile as much as alcohol, but it’s clean, balanced and well made – and offers plenty of fruit-filled flavour. It tastes of blackberry and milk chocolate, saltbush and asphalt, everything nicely tied together and presented in neat fashion. Tannin structure is excellent too.

Big, generous, classy and delicious. Indulgent chocolate tones and rounded red fruit. Pleasing background savoury accents and beautifully integrated oak. Concentrated and vibrant with a gorgeous deep colour. A highly satisfying, well-made wine that stands out from the crowd.

Deep, bold red/purple colour and a rich, dense, ripe dark chocolate bouquet thanks to ripe fruit and generous oak infusion. The wine is full-bodied and generous, a traditional style with liberal coconutty oak and robust tannins. The acidity cleanses the finish and the aftertaste is long. A big, bold red with plenty of ageing potential.
