Dal Zotto specialise in all things Italian. After all, it’s in their blood–the family patriarch Otto spent his formative years in Valdobbiadene, Veneto. When Otto and wife Elena set up shop in Victoria’s King Valley in 1987, well, it seemed only natural to do things the Italian way.
Enter the Dal Zotto Sangiovese. Made in the foothills of the Victorian alps, this is consistently up there with the very best Sangiovese made on Australian soils. It’s alive with red fruit—think plum and cherry—with a whisper of spice that speaks to traditional Sangiovese. It’s medium-bodied, and works for all seasons and or tables… or just as a glass on its own.
"This has drinkability stamped all over it and bang-on for a lighter-framed sangiovese. Full of bright cherry fruit, pips and tangy acidity, lithe tannins and there's good tension throughout."

"Fresh, clean and bright sangiovese with orange-peel and dark-berry character. Cherries, too. Medium body. Crisp finish. Tangy."
