BAY OF FIRES Riesling, Tasmania
Bay of Fires sources cool-climate grapes from all over Tasmania and has its winery in the Pipers River region of northern Tasmania. The Riesling for this wine is typically grown in the south of Tasmania in the Derwent and Coal River valleys. The wine has fragrant aromas of lime with hints of musk. The pure-fruited palate is juicy and vibrant with citrus flavours and crisp acidity, balanced and in perfect harmony with a small amount of residual sugar. Like all good Rieslings it can be consumed young or allowed to develop complexity in the cellar.
