The scarcity of Château Haut-Brion’s white wine production drives demand. Generally, fewer than 800 cases are made per vintage. A blend of majority Semillon to Sauvignon Blanc, the Blanc sits at the pinnacle of the white wines of Bordeaux.
Fermentation of this white takes place on new oak, with further maturation on lees. With the complexity and sophistication of a Burgundy Grand Cru, it is lent even more prestige due to its extremely limited production.
