DOMINIO DE PINGUS
Pingus was established in 1995 by Peter Sisseck, a Dutch-born, French-trained winemaker working in Ribera del Duero since 1990. Peter’s philosophy is to produce wines that express the individual terroir of specific old-vine vineyards. Production of the top wine ‘Pingus’ is tiny, sourced from three-parcels of gnarled old vines of head-pruned Tempranillo. Alongside the flagship wine, Pingus also produces a second wine called Flor de Pingus and an earlier drinking premium Tempranillo called Psi.
