93-94/100 Andrew Caillard MW. Medium deep colour. Intense dark cherry/ ginger vanilla oak aromas. Supple sweet espresso/ dark cherry fruit flavours and looseknit chalky tannins. Finished firm and liquoricy. Very good.
89-92/100 James Molesworth, Wine Spectator. High pitched today, with bing cherry, floral and incense notes allied to a creamy texture and a long, suave finish. There's ample stuffing here but it's restrained right now, with a twinge of iron buried deeply on the finish. Tasted non-blind.
