Broken record and all that, but geez, some of Henschke’s best wines are the collection of rieslings made each year.
Delicious thing this. So very drinkable, so much joy, quiet detail, a little more savouriness than past vintages, a good dose of lime in tonic water going on. Zesty, pure-feeling, vivacious. Slippery but clean, racy feel to texture. Good extension of flavour. Summery, but could do well at off-freezing temperature to reveal a little more. Very good.

Very light straw-yellow hue. Dried flowers and citrus leaves to smell, with some citrus juice nuances. There is good intensity of fruit flavour, juicy and deep with a lingering tail. Lovely wine. It has strength and structure and could accompany heartier foods. A delicious wine, which should also age well.
