Pale colour. Classic lime, lemon curd aromas with grapefruit, tonic water, toasty notes. Beautifully concentrated palate with pure lime, grapefruit flavours, attractive toasty bottle age notes, superb mid palate suppleness and linear fresh acidity. Finishes minerally with some al-dente textures. Still fresh and lively with superb fruit definition and torque. A reference Eden Valley Riesling with remarkably low alcohol. 10.8% alc Drink now-2035
A wine equally split between its freshness on the one hand and honeyed lime juice on the other. It's hard to see how it will increase in complexity, yet it will, as every vintage of Wigan has demonstrated.

This has really transformed into a complex, bottle-matured riesling with lemon-rind, lemon-butter and toasty aromas. The palate is very smoothly arranged and the wine has taken on a glossy textural quality over the five years in bottle. The length and intensity here is so impressive. This is breathtakingly pure, yet complex and drinkable.
