The 2010 Moncerbal is closed for business, you need to swirl the glass like crazy to get something out of it. It has all the blueberries, the acid strawberry and so on, but it also has some brioche aromas. It reveals the most balanced palate of all of the 2010 wines. But it will probably be the one that will require longer in bottle to show all the potential. Decant it hours in advance if you plan on drinking it soon.

Deep red/purple colour. Rich, deep, spicy and complex bouquet, and the palate is superbly complete, intense and deep. Great line and length, masses of tannin - but they're ripe, high-quality tannins. A wine of incredible length and drive.

Glass-staining ruby. Pungent, mineral-accented aromas of black raspberry, cherry compote and cola, with intense spiciness and a hint of lavender. Plush and expansive, showing powerful red and dark berry preserve flavors and notes of bitter chocolate and star anise. Suave, seamless and focused, finishing with excellent clarity and floral-dominated persistence.
