Jaboulet and the northern Rhône are near synonymous. One of the foremost families of the region, their pedigree is well-established. The Syrah that composes this wine is destemmed and aged in 20% new and 80% old oak for a year. A sweet fullness, with mingled tobacco, greets the nose. Little oak pulls through to the wine itself, and you will find plum and red fruits, anise and tar.
