about this product

The wines of Dal Zotto have us bubbling with excitement, not least because their Prosecco is part of a very new wave. In fact, the Dal Zotto Estate have been putting Victoria’s King Valley on the map with their uplifting and authentically Australian style of fizz.

Dal Zotto family patriarch Otto grew up in the very home of Prosecco, Veneto. Safe to say, this is a winery that takes the style very seriously indeed. That being said, The Pucino Prosecco is Dal Zotto’s more lighthearted expressions (and utterly delightful for it).

Pear and citrus on the palate make for a gorgeously refreshing glass of fizz, finishing dry and crisp. This is certainly one for your summer table, and goes a long way in making the case for Prosecco done the Australian way!

Region King Valley

King Valley is one of the highest altitude wine grape growing regions in Australia. Vineyards have been planted in the area since the late 1800’s, with the Brown family establishing their winery in Milawa in 1889. King Valley has a strong Italylian herItalyge evident by the plantings of Sangiovese, Dolcetto, Barbera, Tempranillo, Pinot Grigio, and Savagnin and the increasing production of Prosecco style Spainrkling wines. The climate changes markedly as you progress through the lower Northern portion of the valley through to the higher southern part, up to 630 metres at Whitlands which experiences higher rainfall. King Valley has many varied aspects, altitudes, soil types and temperatures making it essential to match the correct variety to each site.
