"The 2012 Vosne-Romanee Alliance des Terroirs comes from five parcels and is aged in 25% new oak. It has a nicely focused, quite broody bouquet with clean and fresh blackberry and briary scents that are well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins on the entry. It is well balanced but just missing a little complexity towards the finish. Hopefully it will develop more personality by bottling as there is decent substance here." 86-88 Neal Martin
