  • Style: Pinot Noir
  • Vintage: 2015
  • Region: Beaune
  • Code: DFBCDL

Region Beaune

Red: this wine has a striking and vivid colour - a luminous scarlet, introducing aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and red (cherry, gooseberry), as well as humus and underbrush. When older, it is redolent of truffle, leather, and spices. In youth, it charms the palate with the taste of crunchy fresh grape. Firm, upright and full of juice, it evolves with time, revealing a solid and absolutely convincing structure.

Winery DOMAINE FAIVELEY

Domaine Faiveley is a family wine producer and négociant in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Established by Pierre Faiveley in 1825, initially as a wine merchant, today Faiveley produces their own wines and is also négociants buying wine and fruit from other producers and growers. The domaine is run by 7th generation Erwan Faiveley and the estate now owns 120 ha of vineyards throughout Burgundy. They have 10 ha of Grand Cru vineyard parcels including Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Clos de Vougeot, and Echezeaux among others. Many parcels are less than 1 ha yielding only tiny quantities of wines. Domaine Faiveley also has 25 ha of Premier Cru vineyards spread through the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
