The signature wine of the Hugel family, the Hugel et Fils Riesling is a dry, fresh style. Made from hand-harvested grapes grown in limestone and clay vineyards, it is typically mineral with pure fruit character.
Founded in 1639 by H.U. Hugelin, heritage and legacy assure Hugel et Fils place in the annals of Alsace history. With 25 hectares of vineyards, and established relationships with hundreds of growers, the winery’s reputation is deservedly unshakeable.
This bright, open-knit white shows a smoky, mineral-laced overtone and flavors of crunchy green pear and blanched almond, with hints of pine and lemon zest. Snappy finish.

Sold as Riesling Tradition until vintage 2012, the 2015 Riesling Classic shows a perfectly ripe, elegant and intense nose. Full-bodied, round and creamy on the palate, due to 20+ percent of botrytis, this is an intense, complex and salty Riesling with good grip, tension and freshness. A really gorgeous entry into the family that was sourced 60% in the Schoenenbourg.

Gentle but rich citrus aroma. Classic in name and nature. Precise, crisp and well balanced with a long citrusy finish.
