Lovely weight and intensity on this Puligny that combines ripeness with freshness and lifted floral flavours. Very attractive now but should get better with 3-5 years of aging. 90 points, Jeannie Cho Lee (12/2015).
Vougeraie’s Champ Gain is a new acquisition. The vineyard is located next to the Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Dents de Chien. The nose and mouth are steely and there are mineral flavours with nice penetration. The wine is medium-light in weight. 90-94 points, Claude Kolm, The Fine Wine Review
Puligny Blancs have a distinguished bouquet of almond paste, ferns, tropical fruit, amber, and white flowers. Their discreet acidity leaves room for a very soft mouthfeel and an impressive long finish.
