A powerful rendition of the variety, the wine offers black/blueberry, plum, anise, thyme and vanillin oak characters on the nose, leading to a brilliantly concentrated palate that’s displays awesome depth and intensity. Wonderfully balanced and multi-layered with a persistent delicious finish.

Matured in new and old French oak for 15 months. It's a svelte shiraz. It's rich with sweet fruit, mostly in the plum and asphalt spectrum, though smoky oak, vanilla and clove characters play subtle-but-important roles. There isn't a lot of tannin to speak of but there's enough; it's simply melted into the fruit. It's made in a warmer style and stressed herb characters are apparent but all indications are that it will mature well.
