Hand-picked, 85% whole berries, 15% whole bunches, cold soak, open-fermented, punched down, 10 days on skins, matured for 10 months in one French puncheon and a 300l stainless steel barrel, 50 dozen made. A powerful palate in take me or leave me style.

Powerful Grenache, but not without style. Brown bread, plenty of sappy spice, raspberry and raspberry rope, dried roses and menthol. Full bodied, firm and almost grainy tannin, a gentle glow of warmth, but falling more to savoury and spicy than simply fruit sweet. Clean acidity and very good length. Much to like here. Beautifully made, too.
