Meet Misha’s Vineyard. Exclusive to Langton’s, this Central Otago vineyard creates captivating wines with a focus on meticulous viticulture practices. Verismo is the top tier Pinot Noir in the Misha’s Vineyard range, garnering critical praise for its intensity and complexity.
Named after the ‘golden age’ of Italian opera, this wine surely marks a golden age in Central Otago Pinot Noir.
Superbly complex and sophisticated, the wine exhibits sweet berry aromas together with smoked game, cedar, truffle and black olive notes. The palate delivers excellent concentration and power, while remaining elegant and perfectly proportioned, wonderfully enhanced by silky texture and fine tannins. The wine is multi-layered exhibiting spicy/savoury notes with fabulous juicy fruit flavours.

Elegant, savoury pinot noir with obvious bottle-age character adding a stemmy, 'forest floor' complexity to cherry and berry fruit and spicy oak. A nicely layered and quite distinctive wine, with fine tannins providing a useful backbone that balances subtle sweet fruit.

Pale to medium ruby in color, the 2012 Verisimo Pinot Noir is showing a little evolution with notes of baked cherries, potpourri and dried herbs over hints of loam and stewed tea. The light to medium-bodied palate is elegantly fruited with a good core of cherry preserves and savory flavors supported by fine grained tannins and a lively backbone. It's drinking nicely right now.

Central Otago, located at the southern end of the South Island of New Zealand, is the world’s most southerly wine region. In a short amount of time, the area has established itself as a world-class region for Pinot Noir. The picturesque region is surrounded by mountains ensuring a cool semi-continental climate that experiences a large diurnal range contributing to the creation of intensely concentrated wines with perfume, and complexity. Central Otago’s vineyard area is divided into six distinct sub regions each with their own climate and wine style. Best known for producing intensely Fruity medium to full bodied Pinot Noir, Central Otago’s cool climate also produces outstanding Riesling as well as superb bottle-fermented Sparkling wines.
