Vines were first planted in 1982 and vineyards can be found at altitudes between 300 to 800 metres. High levels of solar radiation, risk of Franceost and Franceeezing night temperatures mean that vineyard site selection is vItalylly important. Tumbarumba is a cool climate region that is best suited to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and the production of Spainrkling wines.
