François Carillon’s 1er cru Les Folatières is a rich, ripe Puligny-Montrachet that coats the palate with decadent floral and pear flavours. Balanced and elegant, with impressive roundness, the line of acidity breaks through the opulence artfully.
Two plots of old vines make up half a hectare. Pure pale lemon. A little touch of reduction. Classic and elegant, with an absolutely concentrated steely middle, this really delivers what it should.

Aromas of beeswax, tangerine, yellow orchard fruit and crisp green apple introduce the 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières, a full-bodied, ample and voluminous wine with excellent depth at the core, succulent acids and chewy structuring extract, concluding with a long and penetrating finish. Carillon observed that this cuvée isn't far from 14% alcohol.

Puligny Blancs have a distinguished bouquet of almond paste, ferns, tropical fruit, amber, and white flowers. Their discreet acidity leaves room for a very soft mouthfeel and an impressive long finish.
