"Medium to full brick-red colour with typical Nebbiolo forward-development. The bouquet is subdued and earthy, savoury, slightly foresty and potpourri notes, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and firmly tannic. The flavour fills the mouth and the tannins threaten to completely dominate the taste. It demands food, preferably protein. Very good potential."

"Tasted blind. Barbaresco. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Concentrated, brooding nose with peppery note. Nebbiolo markers slowly rising from the glass. Youthful cherry palate with supple red fruit and a wonderful dose of unpolished, chewy tannins. Pure and direct."
