Kientzler Riesling Ribeauvillé is a highly aromatic wine. It is mineral-lead, with a slight salinity. It finishes dry with good length.
For over five generations, the Kientzler family have been nurturing vines in Ribeauvillé. A heritage name of the region, their wines are prized expressions of Alsace. Today, the family look after close to 14ha of fruit in the region, encompassing substantial Grand Cru parcels.
Bright straw-yellow. Clean aromas of lemon, lime, minerals and fresh flowers. Then juicy and lemony; clean orchard fruit flavors offer very good length and cut. The grapes grow in the areas of Hunawihr and Ribeauvillé (the soils have more clay at Hunawihr, while they are more marly-sand at Ribeauvillé). Classically dry and very high in acid, but also extremely food-friendly. Lovely entry-level Riesling.
