Light straw-yellow hue and a stony, flinty, savoury bouquet, which is very Chablis-like. It's the most typical Chabis of the five Dauvissat wines. There's also a hint of unwashed potato, or root vegetable, which again is typical of Chablis. And honey. The palate is intense and focused, long and linear with great poise and precision. There's a touch of fruit-sweetness in the mid-palate before a very long, resonating, well-balanced tail. A lovely wine.
