Meet Misha’s Vineyard. Exclusive to Langton’s, this Central Otago vineyard's focus on meticulous viticultural practices has produced a selection of exceptional wines, echoing the extraordinary terroir it occupies. The High Note, as its name suggest, represents the focal point of Misha’s Pinot Noir catalogue.
Layered with elegance and complexity, The High Note is a superlative example of Central Otago Pinot Noir. Drink now, or cellar.
A distinctive mix of cherry, plum and savoury, dried herb, thyme, malt and toasty oak flavours. A silken-textured wine, with peppery tannins leading to a drying finish. Approachable now but with plenty of cellaring potential.

There’s no mistaking the complexity, purity, fruit, spice and toasty barrel allure in the bouquet. On the palate - equally complex with a core of red berry fruit flavours - cherry, dried raspberry and a little plum. The mineral message is strong with cold mountain stone laced with a savoury wild thyme. The messages of place and time are clear and pure. Firm youthful grip from tannins and medium+ acidity then spices of oak and a savoury complexity capture the wine’s foundation. All this wine now needs is time. Serve now with protein rich food or cellar till 2023 then enjoy through 2033+.

Central Otago, located at the southern end of the South Island of New Zealand, is the world’s most southerly wine region. In a short amount of time, the area has established itself as a world-class region for Pinot Noir. The picturesque region is surrounded by mountains ensuring a cool semi-continental climate that experiences a large diurnal range contributing to the creation of intensely concentrated wines with perfume, and complexity. Central Otago’s vineyard area is divided into six distinct sub regions each with their own climate and wine style. Best known for producing intensely Fruity medium to full bodied Pinot Noir, Central Otago’s cool climate also produces outstanding Riesling as well as superb bottle-fermented Sparkling wines.
