The Brora Limited Edition 1977 38 Year Old Whisky is the oldest Whisky from the now defunct distillery released by Diego. This single malt is an extraordinarily dry Whisky, and complex on the palate, with notes of smoke and peat. Freshness comes from citrus peel. On the nose, the smoke continues, with mild honey and a slight oily note.
Originally named ‘Clynelish’ on its establishment in 1819, the Brora distillery became so named in 1968. Production ceased in 1983, but Diageo have recently announced it will resume operations in 2020.
