"Grenache, Cinsaut and Mourvedre. The complexity of the fragrant bouquet with its exotic spice, dried rose petals and talcum powder segues to the palate with its Byzantine mosaic of juicy red fruits. It is so highly flavoured you might expect some sweetness on the finish, but it's dry."
95 points, Wine Companion, August 2018.
"Turkey Flat is always remarkably quick to market with its famous Rose. This release is still settling into itself but it’s also clearly very good. It walks a great line. Dry and savoury in part, bright and fruity in other. It’s copper-crimson in colour, is slashed with raspberried fruit flavour and also carries dry spice, orange jelly and herb notes. It’s absolutely spot on delicious drinking." 93 points, Campbell Mattinson.
"A blend of 60% shiraz, 25% cabernet sauvignon and 15% merlot, the crushed fruit chilled before pressing. Pale salmon-pink; gently spicy red berry aromas sing from the same page as the palate, with a savoury cast of considerable complexity, the finish elongated by perfectly pitched tannins." 94 Points, James Halliday
