With a name that hints at its citrussy freshness, Limelight Riesling comes direct from Central Otago standouts Misha’s Vineyard, available exclusively through Langton’s.
Complexity is at the core of Limelight—this is not your stock-standard Riesling. With unexpected notes of smoky pine and a whisper of spice, its backbone remains classic Central Otago Riesling.
Vibrant wine from a cool but exciting vintage with lime, green apple, orange blossom, bush honey and oyster-shell flavours. The wine has developed exquisite sweet-and-sour tension. Terrific now but will continue to offer pleasure for many years.

White blossoms and lime, green apple and lemon, lime-flower, white peach and fresh pear d’Angou. A whisper of spice and cool stone minerality. On the palate - an off-dry style with a tease of residual sweetness that is immediately contrasted by focused, ripe and refreshing acidity - leading to a just off-dry finish. The lower alcohol holds all the flavours and satin textures in place. Fantastic balance and length. Best drink from today and through 2025+.

It's gorgeously elegant and fragrant on the nose showing apricot, fig, lemon/lime peel and white floral aromas, leading to a concentrated palate that's focused and finely textured. The wine offers subtle sweetness with refreshing acidity, making it wonderfully harmonious and delightfully drinkable.

Central Otago, located at the southern end of the South Island of New Zealand, is the world’s most southerly wine region. In a short amount of time, the area has established itself as a world-class region for Pinot Noir. The picturesque region is surrounded by mountains ensuring a cool semi-continental climate that experiences a large diurnal range contributing to the creation of intensely concentrated wines with perfume, and complexity. Central Otago’s vineyard area is divided into six distinct sub regions each with their own climate and wine style. Best known for producing intensely Fruity medium to full bodied Pinot Noir, Central Otago’s cool climate also produces outstanding Riesling as well as superb bottle-fermented Sparkling wines.
