Here are a dozen bottles of delicious, everyday Cabernet from the place that does it best, Western Australia. Three notable producers round out a dozen that you’ll be pouring all winter long, and you’ll save significantly on the $448 RRP. If you fancy that deep, sensory satisfaction so very particular to Western Australian Cabernet, you can’t go wrong here.
This pack contains four bottles each of the following:
Deep Woods Estate Ebony Shiraz Cabernet 2017
Forest Hill Vineyard Highbury Fields Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Jilyara The Williams’ Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
"Highbury Fields forever? This includes 14% Malbec. Interestingly, I think I like this wine more than the more expensive Estate and Block 5 wines. Well, there you go.
Blackcurrant, plum, aniseed, cedar, dried rose and gum leaf perfume. It’s black fruited, firm and tannic, but succulent and savoury, with black olive rolled in dried herb, crisp but balanced acidity, and a long cool finish. The tannin is kind of lead pencil-y and dark chocolate on the finish. You have to like the Great Southern style, but it’s very good. And value."

"...Another of the best budget buys that hits the mark year in and year out. Spicy plummy chocolate and blackcurrant fruit in abundance. A light touch of spicy oak completes a well-presented package."

"Delicious tobacco and dark-berry aromas and flavors here with wet earth. Medium body. Light tannins. Fresh and simple finish. Drink now. Screw cap."
