This small-batch McLaren Vale Shiraz is fermented with whole berries in open-fermenters. Depending on the source block, the wine spends 7-10 days on skins with each block vinified and raised separately spending 30 months in French oak.
Small batch whole berry open-fermented, 7-10 days on skins (block dependant, each kept separate until bottling), 30 months in French oak. A very powerful wine that carries the burden of its extract without complaint.

Beautifully fruited and perfumed, the wine shows dark plum, sweet raspberry, cedar, anise and cedar characters on the nose with a subtle accent of violet. It is wonderfully weighted and rounded on the palate, backed by silky texture and supple tannins, leading to a lengthy refined finish.
