The fruit for this McLaren Vale Shiraz is sourced from four blocks–130-year-old, 80-year-old with the other two being 20-30-year-old. Fermented with whole berries in open-fermenters separately and raised in new French oak (50%) hogsheads for 20 months.
Four blocks (130yo, 80yo, the balance 20-30yo) whole berry open-fermented separately. Ultra-full-bodied, but the juicy black fruits/dark chocolate and tannins all bear witness to its bloodline and heritage.

A glorious shiraz exhibiting power and grace in one; the sweetly perfumed bouquet shows blackberry, Black Doris plum, dark cocoa, cedar and mixed spice aromas, followed by a superbly weighted and concentrated palate that is plush and velvety. The wine displays outstanding depth and sophistication, brilliantly framed by fine, chalky tannins.
