Soave is a small region just west of Verona in North-East Italy. The wines are traditionally made from Garganega and other indigenous grape varieties. This wine is made by one of the masters of the appellation, Antonio Fattori. The grapes have been sourced exclusively from Monte Calvarino, one of the outstanding growing sites in Soave.
This wine shows lifted notes of white pear, stone fruit, white jasmine blossom and raw almonds. The palate is vibrant with dancing acidity and a textural element that we look for in the wines of Soave.
