Paola Gloder's 2012 Brunello di Montalcino is a delightful wine with easy-drinking appeal and lots of energy and personality locked within. This Brunello delivers smooth consistency and dark concentration with a saturated garnet hue. The aromas lift off the bouquet with power and determination. They include black berry, spice, cola, tobacco and mild espresso. The wine shows well integrated fruit tannins with good richness and supple power. Like other wines from this vintage, the mouthfeel is slightly leaner and more compact, but this is nicely compensated by its overall balance and focus. (ML) - Drink Date 2017-2028.'

The 2018 Chianti Classico is a gorgeous, mid-weight wine that captures the essence of the estate's high-altitude vineyards. Freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, licorice, mint, pine and cedar are some of the many aromas and flavors that are woven throughout. The 2018 is gracious, inviting and impeccable in its balance.

Pure aromas and flavors of black currant, blackberry and violet are shaded by notes of wild Mediterranean herbs, iron and sweet spices in this balanced red. The tannins are solid yet refined, and the finish lingers, echoing the fruit, herbal and spice elements. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

A fluid style, with pure cherry, raspberry and floral notes emanating from the vibrant structure. Leather, tobacco, spice and mineral details add depth as this unfolds into a long, expansive finish. The tannins are solid and integrated.

Made with organic grapes, this has vinous aromas of freshly pressed grapes that mingle with whiffs of wild berry, moist earth and violet. It's bright and savory, offering Marasca cherry, blood orange and rusty nail alongside lithe tannins and vibrant acidity.

2012 Brunello di Montalcino Mid ruby with orange tinges. Quite reluctant nose and surprisingly open-knit palate of dark fruit and supple acidity. Fantastic, crunchy tannins on the finish. Can be approached now, but should be allowed to age.

Underbrush, chopped aromatic herb, dark spice and balsamic aromas come together in the glass. Firmly structured and elegant with a backbone of taut, refined tannins, the palate doles out ripe Marasca cherry, crushed raspberry, licorice and baking spice flavors.
