Region Brouilly

Today, after a period of being the pariahs of the wine world, they are once again worthy objects of interest for serious wine lovers. The largest Cru in Beaujolais, situated around Mont Brouilly and contains within its boundaries the sub-district of Côte de Brouilly. The wines are noted for their aromas of blueberries, cherries, raspberries and currants.

Arnaud Aucœur is the oldest family Domaine in the village of Morgon. Owner/Vignerons since 1825, the Vignoble Aucœur was established at Villié Morgon. Its Crus are planted to a dozen hectares of the most prestigious appellations of the region, including Morgon, Fleurie, and Moulin-à-Vent.    Production is done manually, with the traditions of the first generations of the Aucœur family being honoured. The passing down and inheritance of knowledge and experience is a fundamental value for the Aucœur family. To this end and the perpetuation of the family legacy, Arnaud Aucœur (2020 Beaujolais Winemaker of the Year, Guide Hachette) makes some of his wines, including the Moulin-à-Vent, in wooden containers.
