Chardonnay

One of the most widely planted white varieties in the world and the principal white grape of Burgundy. Its inherent fruit character varies depending on the climate in which it’s grown and the winemaking techniques used - ranging from zesty lemon to ripe tropical fruit. With its generous flavours and its affinity with oak, it can be made into a host of different styles. Only the finest examples have long term cellaring potential.
