Four parcels in Brochon – the oldest planted before 1960 and the youngest in the 1980s, more clay and rich soils. ‘Fixin-like’ soils. One year in barrel. Remontage at the start of fermentation and pigeage when the ferment has warmed up. Tank sample. To be bottled mid December 2019.
Sweet red fruits on the nose, inviting, seductive yet tangy too. Quite light on the mid palate, super-smooth. with a dark-chocolate-like clean finish. Really refined and surprisingly long for such delicacy.

Lightly structured with some dry tannins, this wine has weight and richness. Blackberry fruits promise ripeness coming from beneath the youthful tannic structure. The wine needs to age and will be ready from late 2021.

Pure product of the third terraces of the Lot, the cuvée has an intense and very stylish florality. The bouquet persists before the wine deploys a mouth with superbly worked flesh in a vigorous touch and perfect curves.

This is a rich and intense G with lots of dried berries and chocolate. Medium-to full-bodied with firm tannins that nicely frame the wine nicely. Drinkable now, but can age well.

Purple fruits, iodine, dried kelp, lilac and white pepper grind freshness dragging effortless length. Beautiful tannin management: plush yet gently assertive, buried by the ripe fruit. A waft of smoked meat, too. This delves into velvet so effortless is the feel. A luncheon wine of real interest, flare and firework aromas.
