What is En Primeur?
En Primeur, or ‘wine futures’, is a system that enables you to buy wine before it has been bottled and officially released to market. Typically, these wines are then delivered 2-3 years after vintage. For decades, LANGTONS has been renowned as Australia’s foremost En Primeur service provider. As our breadth and depth of offering expands we renew our commitment to securing the world’s greatest wines for our members.
How does it work?
First, our team tastes and assesses barrel samples to affirm quality and negotiate allocations. Second, we release the wines for sale and you will have the opportunity to purchase them. Third, after 2-3 years, the wines are bottled and shipped to our warehouse. Finally, the wines are shipped to you, or we can store them for you.
