We have secured just 50 dozen of this classic Australian blend from Victoria. This bold and rich red is a riot of dark orchard and berry fruit on the palate with a dusting of dark spice, a snap of dark chocolate and well-measured oak. It is smooth and inviting with fine tannins that keep it structured on the palate, suggesting you return for more. The eight years in bottle has allowed the wine to develop even though the colour and fruit suggest a slightly younger wine. So there are several years left to develop in the cellar; drink some now and some later. It is a good thing, then, that we are offering this wine by the dozen.
