GOSSET Brut Rose, Champagne NV Bottle
About this wine
Gosset Brut Rosé, Champagne
Founded in 1584, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, known for crafting wines that show depth and integrity over superficial charm. The Brut Rosé is drawn from a blend dominated by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a small portion of red wine added for colour and structure rather than sweetness. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to preserve purity and freshness, and the wine undergoes extended lees ageing to build texture and complexity.
On the nose, it shows redcurrant, pomegranate and citrus zest, with a subtle hint of pastry from maturation. The palate balances red fruit vibrancy with chalky tension and length, finishing dry and focused in the Gosset style. True to the house's philosophy, no malolactic fermentation is used, ensuring precision and energy in every bottle. A benchmark rosé Champagne built for both fine dining and thoughtful cellaring.
