Medium deep, brick-red colour. The bouquet shows earth and dried leather, the wine is starting to show balsamic character, especially on the palate, where it is tremendously rich and fleshy, concentrated, with its fruit sweetness still evident. Great harmony, power and endless length. A very great wine. The dimension of the palate has to be tasted to be believed. It expands to fill every crevice in the mouth and lingers forever. A second bottle was slightly fresher than the first; still showing primary fruit in the palate. A fantastic wine.
