About this wine
Escarpment’s Pahi Pinot Noir is a soft supple fruit-forward style sourced from the single 2.5 hectare McCreanor vineyard in Martinborough. The vines are anchored on the gravel and clay soils of the Martinborough Terrace. Fermentation takes place in open topped wooden vats with regular plunging followed by maturation in 30% new French oak for 12 months.
