Louis Jadot Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot
The village of Vougeot is in the centre of the Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny to the north and Flagey-Echèzeaux and Vosne-Romanée on the south.
Hand-picked and destemmed grapes undertake fermentation for anywhere between three to four weeks in vats. After this, 18 months of oak ageing is courtesy of barrels from Louis Jadot’s own cooperage. Showing power, complexity and depth, the Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is typically well defined and structured and will cellar well for 20 years or more.
