ABOUT THE WINERY
Paolo Scavino

The estate of Paolo Scavino is set amongst the picturesque rolling hills of Langhe in the tiny commune of Castiglione Falletto. Established in 1921 by Lorenzo Scavino and son Paolo, the family-owned estate is now led by third generation vigneron Enrico Scavino and his daughters Enrica and Elisa. Enrico Scavino is famous for being the very first producer in Barolo to conceive and create a single vineyard cru, the renowned Bric del Fisac in 1978. The Scavino family now has grand cru vineyard holdings in six of the 11 different villages of Barolo, Enrico Scavino's pioneering vision, devotion to single vineyard expression together and fierce commitment to quality is what sets this estate apart from other Barolo producers.
