Elegant and highly perfumed with ethereal silky tannins and a sensual velvety texture, Anne Gros’ Richebourg is profoundly deep and complex. The vineyard is anchored on red brown clay soils overlaying a limestone base with the vines an average age of 90 years. Fermentation takes place in lined concrete and the wine is then matured in 70% new oak for 16 months. Richebourg is considered one of the greatest Burgundies combining tremendous power with finesse and elegance and the Richebourg from Domaine Anne Gros is no exception. Typically only 7 barrels of this rare and exquisite wine are made.
